- Suicide Exclusions in Life Insurance Policies. In 2020, Ms. Summers
persuaded the Colorado Supreme Court that a Colorado law delegated too
much authority to the Interstate Insurance Compact, in violation of the - Colorado State Constitution. This decision, which has been called
“stunning,” forced multiple life insurance companies to pay death benefits
